MEC CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
The Pioneers fell behind early, with Fairmont State holding a slight edge after the compulsory event, 36.325-35.150. FSU used a strong acro event, which saw them score a 9.175 or higher in all three heats, to edge GSU in the event, 28.200-27.975. Right before halftime, Glenville State would trail by nearly four points after Fairmont State beat out the blue and white in the pyramid event, 29.200-26.875.
