NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Glenville State Men's and Women's Track & Field programs have been named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams, the association announced. Additionally, Janae Scott and Natalie Barr were tabbed Academic All-Americans by the organization.
 
As a team, the Pioneers needed to finish with a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher to be a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, as both the men's and women's programs achieved such feat. Scott and Barr were required to have a GPA of 3.25 or higher as well as finish in the top 50 in an event in TFRRS or compete in any round of the NCAA Championships. Most notably, Scott was an All-American performer in the shot put during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
