Anthony Kellar enters his fourth season on the Pioneers coaching staff as the linebackers coach.
Kellar once again coached Seth Arnold to a All-MEC First Team selection in 2023, while seeing transfers Steve Bradshaw and Brogan Brown step up and produce at a high-level for the linebacking core.
In 2022, GSU, under coach Kellar’s direction, doubled their All-MEC Selections. Seth Arnold would make another All-MEC Team and produce 95 tackles. Sophomore Sean Bowers was second for the Pioneers in tackles and had 6.5 tackles for loss.Â
Â
In his first season, the Pioneer's linebacker core was led by Seth Arnold. Arnold finished the 2021 campaign with 89 tackles, which was second in the Mountain East Conference. Arnold also had two fumble recoveries which helped him to an All-MEC First Team Selection. Â
Â
Anthony got his coaching start as a student assistant at WVU working with the linebackers. Keller spent three seasons in Morgantown before joining the coaching staff at Lincoln High School. At Lincoln, he would coach the linebackers, wide receivers, and was the special teams coordinator.Â

Coach Kellar is a native of Shinnston, W.Va., and attended West Virginia University where he got his Bachelor of Arts in History.Â
