Cade Rohrbough was named the Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach with the Glenville State Football program in December of 2025. He is entering his first season with the Pioneers in 2026.
Rohrbough previously worked at Utah State as a Junior Analyst with the offensive side of the ball. The Aggies went (6-7) in 2025, including a (4-4) mark in the Mountain West. USU ranked 2nd in the MWC in scoring offense (30.9 PPG), 3rd in total offense (409.5 YPG) and were in the top half in both passing YPG (247.0 YPG) and rushing YPG (162.5 YPG).
"We are really excited to have Cade join our staff at Glenville State," said Coach Casteel. "He is going to bring a lot of knowledge and energy to our special teams units as well as the running backs room."
Rohrbough spent the 2024 season at West Virginia as the Assistant Running Backs Coach on Neal Brown's staff. The (6-7, 5-4 Big 12) Mountaineers ranked 4th in the conference in rushing touchdowns (27), 5th in total rushing yards (2,536) and rushing yards per game (195.1 YPG).Â
He also has experience at William & Mary, where he spent the 2023 season as an Offensive Quality Control Coach with the FCS program. There, his primary responsibilities included assisting the offensive coaches with film break down, scouting reports, working with scout team defense and assisting with the running backs.
Rohrbough played quarterback and was a long snapper at West Virginia Wesleyan, where he graduated from in 2023. After his playing career, he spent the spring of '23 as a student assistant with the Bobcats.Â
"I am super excited to join Coach Casteel in Glenville. I'm especially fired up to be back in the great state of West Virginia," mentioned Rohrbough. "Can't wait to get rolling."
The Jane Lew, W.Va. native played high school football at Lewis County, where he led the Minutemen to back-to-back playoff appearances in 2018 and 2019. His connections within the state will reinforce Coach Casteel's initiative to recruit the best players in West Virginia to Glenville.
