Kennedy Cook enters his second season on the Pioneers coaching staff as the offensive lineman coach.  

In his first season, Glenville State had one of the best offensive lines in the country, ranking eighth in the nation for sacks allowed. With the line being dominant, the run game had success averaging 4.2 yards per carry. In total, during the 2022 season, three Pioneers were named to All-MEC teams. Ian Pomeroy flourished under Cook leading to an All-American selection. 
 
Kennedy is a native of Maineville, Ohio, and attended Wittenberg University. While at Wittenberg, he was a three-year starter, received an all-conference selection, was a three-time conference champion, and had three playoff appearances.  
 
Before arriving at Glenville, Cook had experience as a Graduate Assistant at Miami University and Ohio State University. While at Miami, he coached under Chuck Martin. Kennedy, as a member of Martin’s staff, coached three All-MAC selections and Tommy Doyle who is in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills. 
 
The Maineville native worked under Head Coach Ryan Day at Ohio State. During his stint with the Buckeyes, the program had massive success winning two Big Ten Titles, the Rose Bowl, and were Sugar Bowl Champions. Cook also would coach in the National Championship, Orange Bowl, and the Fiesta Bowl. Through his three years with the program, there were a total of four All-Americans, 14 All-Big Ten selections, and a Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in Wyatt Davis. Currently, there are eight players in the NFL that Kennedy coached at Ohio State.
