Glenville State University Athletics

Jeanette Leal enters her fifth year as the Director of Health Services at Glenville State in 2025-26. She also enters her second year as the Assistant Athletic Director.

Prior to taking over at GSU, Leal was at Upper Iowa Univeristy from 2017-2021 as an Athletic Trainer, working mainly with the volleyball, softball and other sports occasionally. 

In 2020, she graduated from Upper Iowa Univeristy with a Masters of Sports Administration. She also obtained her Bachlor's of Science in Athletic Training from Aquinas College in 2017. Leal has her West Virginia Athletic Training License, First Aid/CRP/AED certification, Dry needling certification and is a BOC certified athletic trainer since 2017. She graduated from Ceader Springs High School in 2013. 

She currently lives in Glenville with her husband Aaron and their dog Nellie. Leal is from Sand Lake, Mich.
