Tori Pierucci

Victoria enters her second season for the GSU Softball team.  
 
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, California, Victoria Pierucci played collegiate softball at Cal State University – Monterey Bay (CSUMB), Foothill California Community College, and Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania. While at CSUMB in 2016, Pierucci led her team in pitching victories, earned run average, complete games, and shutouts which resulted in her being nominated Freshman Female Athlete of the Year. Pierucci transferred to Foothill in 2017 and led her team to its first-ever conference championship and an appearance in the CA State Championship tournament. Pierucci was second in California in pitching wins, third in earned run average, and first in shutouts and complete games. Pierucci was named to the CA All-State team. Pierucci transferred to Mercyhurst University in 2018 and pitched her final two seasons of collegiate softball, appearing in 60 games, pitching 300 innings, and striking out over 200 batters. During her time at Mercyhurst, Pierucci was a Conference Athlete of the Week, a Pennsylvania All-Conference athlete, scholar-athlete, and Team Captain. 
  
During her collegiate career, Pierucci totaled over 50 wins, 20 shutouts, 700 innings pitched, 500 strikeouts and an earned run average of just over 2.00. Other softball accomplishments include 2016 – Pitched with the AIST College Select Softball team in Italy; 2019 – Pitching coach for the Erie, Pennsylvania Outlaws Softball Club, working with athletes between the ages of 8 and 14. Prior to college, Pierucci pitched with the Cal Nuggets and led her club team to a Premier Girls Fastpitch National Tournament appearance. 
  
Pierucci graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociocultural Anthropology. She is currently working on her master’s degree in Administration of Justice.
