Emily Stoller enters her fourth season as Head Coach of the Glenville State Women's Basketball program in 2026-27.

Stoller had her best season leading the historic GSU Women's Basketball program in 2025-26, going (24-7) overall and (16-4) in MEC play to capture the MEC Regular Season championship. The Lady Pioneers made their second straight appearance in the MEC Tournament championship game and punched their ticket to the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Tournament as an at-large team. Transfer Carine Pinkney was an All-MEC First Team selection while Nwando Okigbo and Khalia Bryant were named to the All-MEC Second Team. Stoller's Lady Pioneers were fourth in the country in PPG (84.1), fifth in three-pointers per game (9.0), fourth in bench points per game (32.7) and fifth in turnovers forced per game (26.1).

The 2024-25 season saw the Lady Pioneers go (19-12, 11-9 MEC) in Stoller's second season, reaching the MEC Tournament Championship game and having two players earn All-MEC honors. Tynasia Bunting was All-MEC First Team while Dream Cherry was All-MEC Honorable Mention. Nwando Okigbo became the MEC Freshman of the Year after averaging a double-double (12.0 PPG, 10.2 RPG). Bunting and Okigbo were also on the MEC All-Tournament team.

In Stoller's first year at the helm for the Lady Pioneers, the team posted a 18-11 (11-9) MEC record. Stoller coached 2 all MEC performers in the 2023-24 season. Hya Haywood (1st team) and Lauren Calhoun (2nd team)

"Through this process, we have realized more than ever that the community, and also many of our alumni, had a strong desire to keep 'The System' in place," GSU Athletic Director Jesse Skiles said. "With Coach Stoller and her time both as a player and coach under Coach Stephens, we have someone well versed in what it takes to continue this legacy."

Last season, Stoller was an assistant coach under Kim Stephens. During her time as an assistant at Glenville, the Lady Pioneers continued to have success posting another 30-win season. For the first time in school history, GSU made consecutive final four appearances.  Before joining the coaching staff at Glenville State University, Emily had spent a season as a part of Fairmont State’s Women’s Basketball coaching staff.

While Stoller started her collegiate playing career at Cleveland State, she would become one of the program’s greatest players at Glenville. Emily played for GSU from 2017-2020 and tallied 1494 points in only three seasons. She remains 12th on the school's All-Time list. Glenville was 87-10 during her three years as a player. As a player, Emily was named to two All-MEC teams and received a first-team selection in 2019.

A native of Fairmont, W.Va., Stoller graduated from Glenville State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in exercise science.Â
