Glenville State Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Stephens is pleased to announce the hiring of Madison May as an assistant coach for the Lady Pioneers.

"We are very excited to have Madison May here. She knows exactly how to do what we like to do here…score the ball. She wants to be a coach and I think she will come in and have a strong voice for our team right away," stated Stephens.

May was a former standout for the Concord University Mountain Lions from 2016 through 2020.

During her four-year playing career as a Mountain Lion, May became the second-leading scorer in program history with 1,788 career points as well as a top five rebounder (762). She also ranks in the top five in assists (331) in program history.

Additionally, she is the only player in program history to earn all-region honors in back-to-back seasons, being recognized on the All-Atlantic Region Second Team in the previous two years.

She graduated from Concord this past year with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education.

Prior to her career at Concord, May had an outstanding career at PikeView High School.
