Jonathan Andreatta is in his third season as an Assistant Coach for the Glenville State Wrestling program in 2025-26. It marks his fourth year with the team, spending his first season as a Graduate Assistant.Â
Andreatta was once again a part of history with the Pioneers in 2024-25 as the program captured their second-consecutive MEC Championship, first-ever NCAA DII Super Region 3 Championship, six individual MEC Champions, two individual Super Region 3 Champions in Hayden Pummel and Nick Johnson, seven National Qualifiers, program-high four All-Americans and a national ranking as high as No. 2 in the NWCA Team Rankings. The Pioneers also went (19-6) overall, winning their first dual over a Division I program when they defeated Morgan State, 27-12, on November 10.
In 2023-24, Andreatta helped the Pioneers win the program's first-ever Mountain East Conference Championship and capture five individual MEC titles. In addition, five grapplers qualified for Nationals and two were named All-Americans with Gavin Quiocho taking 2nd and Guy DeLeonardis placing 3rd.
His first season with the squad in 2022-23, Andreatta helped lead the Pioneers to feats never seen with newly-formed program. GSU had two individuals win MEC Championships and three individuals take home Super Region 3 Championships. In all, five qualified for Nationals and Gavin Quiocho became the blue & white's first-ever National Champion. Quiocho was also named MEC Wrestler of the Year and with Jared Campbell, became the program's first-ever All-Americans.
