Jaycie Johnson enters her second year as an Administrative Assistant with the Glenville State University Athletic Department in 2025-26. She manages all business operations for the GSU Athletics' teams and staffs.
Johnson joined the Administration's staff after graduating from Glenville State in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor's in Accounting and Sports Management. She helped the University and the University's Athletic Department in different areas during her time as a student, working as a student worker in the GSU Foundation and the Sports Information office as well as being a student manager with the GSU Volleyball team. Johnson team has been an Assistant Manager / Utility Worker at the Sue Morris Sports Complex since 2019 also.
A distinguished business student, Johnson brings plenty of financial and management characteristics to the department. She landed on the President's List six times and the Provost's List twice while earning the Ernest H. Smith award for having the highest GPA of BSBA students in her class in 2024. Johnson garnered other decorated accolades like Outstanding Accounting Student, Outstanding Senior Student (Business) and Outstanding Junior Student (Business).
Johnson graduated from Gilmer County High School in 2020 before attending Glenville State University. She currently resides in Glenville.
