Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers fell on the road Monday night to the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, 3-1.

The Yellow Jackets would take the first set from the Lady Pioneers, 25-16. However GSC would come out strong in the second set as they took set two, 25-22. West Virginia State would win the third set, 25-13.

The Lady Pioneers would continue to fight in the fourth set but the Yellow Jackets would finish them off winning it, 25-20.

Bailey Brawner had a game high 16 kills and a game high in digs with 19. Jazaray Clark-Casto continued her strong play as she finished with 11 kills and a block.

Madison Gargus led GSC in assists with 18 and two digs.

West Virginia State was led by Rebekah Baldwin as she had 14 kills.

Glenville State (1-24, 0-10) will host West Virginia State at 6:00 p.m. this Friday, October 28^th at the Waco Center.
