Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer Volleyball team had a strong showing on Senior Day but came up short as they fell to the Urbana University Blue Knights, 3-1.

Urbana would take set one from the Lady Pioneers 25-18. However GSC would come out and win the second set 25-18. In the third set Urbana would win it closely, 25-21 and in the fourth set the Blue Knights would win it 25-22.

Bailey Brawner had a team high 13 kills and 14 digs in the game while Madison Smith had seven kills in her final game as a Lady Pioneer. Kayla Dickenson had two kills, six digs, and five blocks in her final game.

Madison Gargus led the team in assists with 19.

Urbana was led by Katlynn Dunlap as she had a game high 17 kills.

Glenville State's (1-31, 0-15) season now comes to an end.
