Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers fell at home on Tuesday night to non-conference opponent Davis & Elkins, 3-0.

The Lady Pioneers (1-29, 0-13) fought hard in the first set but came up short, 25-17. GSC would hold a strong lead in the second set but again fell short, 25-23. Davis & Elkins would go on and win the third set, 25-16.

Bailey Brawner led GSC with 11 kills on the night and finished with 10 digs. Haley Wolff and Madison Smith each had four kills in the game. Ai Miyazaki had a team high 17 digs while Madison Gargus and Allison Parski each had 10 assists in the contest.

Davis & Elkins was led by Elizabeth Estes as she had a game high 12 kills.

Glenville State will return to action this Friday, November 11^th as they host Notre Dame College starting at 5:00 p.m.
