Glenville, W.Va. - The Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team picked up their second win of the season on Friday night as they defeated Georgetown College.
The Lady Pioneers took the first event of the meet, the compulsory event, with a score of 32.05 to 24.60.
GSC had another good performance in the acro event as they won all three heats taking the event 27.95 to Georgetown's 18.85, the Lady Pioneers also won the pyramid event by a score of 26.90 to 24.65. Glenville State held the lead at intermission 86.90 to 68.10.
In the second half of the meet GSC would come out and win all three heats in the toss event outscoring Georgetown 27.00 to 24.25. In the tumbling event Georgetown took two out of the six events however the Lady Pioneers still won the event by a score of 50.450 to 42.175.
In the last and final event of the meet the team event the Lady Pioneers had a great showing as they took it over Georgetown 100.99 to 80.86.
Glenville State will return to action on Tuesday, March 7th as they host Baylor University at 7:00 p.m. from the Waco Center.
