Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC Lady Pioneer acrobatics & tumbling team fell at home on Thursday night to the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus.

The Battlers would take the first event from the Lady Pioneers, the compulsory event, 37.95 to 33.70.

Glenville State posted three good scores in the acro event but they would fall to Alderson Broaddus 29.40 to 26.80.

Right before intermission GSC came out and took heat one (inversion) in the pyramid event outscoring AB 9.45 to 9.30 but the Lady Pioneers dropped the next two heats as the Battlers took the pyramid, 28.95 to 27.00.

Alderson Broaddus headed into halftime leading 95.80 to GSC's 87.50.

The Battlers continued their strong performance in the toss event as they took it from the Lady Pioneers 28.80 to 26.10.

In the tumbling event, GSC's Brianna D'Angelo took heat four the aerial scoring a 9.55 to AB's 8.4 however the Lady Pioneers fell short in tumbling 52.100 to 48.925.

In the final event, the team event, Alderson Broaddus scored a 98.72 while Glenville State scored an 84.55 as the Battlers defeated the Lady Pioneers 275.95 to 247.08.

GSC's acrobatic & tumbling team had a great season racking up three wins in just their second year in existence.
