Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer soccer team suffered a 4-0 road loss on Tuesday afternoon to the Blazers of Hood College.
Glenville State (0-2-2) had just six shots in the contest with three on goal while Hood College (6-1-1) recorded 17 shots with 12 shots on goal.
The Blazers would score their first goal at the 26:22 minute mark in the first and would add another goal at the 35:42 mark as they held a 2-0 lead at the break.
In the second, Hood College added their third goal at the 48:34 minute mark and their fourth and final goal at the 82:55 mark as they took the match, 4-0.
Natalie Castillo had three shots with two on goal while
Brie Webb had the other shot on goal for GSC.
Jasmine Mangle, Emily DiMatteo, Sam Plinke, and Melisaa Merritt all had goals for the Blazers.

Alyssa Banks had eight saves for the Lady Pioneers while Hood's goalie Rachel Knoebel had three save in the game.
Glenville State will return to action this Thursday, September 21
st as they host West Liberty at 6:00 p.m. from Morris Stadium.
