The Pioneers have put together a strong conference campaign, combining consistent results with a defense that has allowed just eight goals through 18 matches. THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
2026 Season
Glenville State finished the regular season with a (9-8-1) overall record and a (9-6-1) mark in MEC play, earning the No. 2 seed from the South Division and the opportunity to host a quarterfinal match. The Pioneers have shown their ability to compete throughout conference play, collecting key victories while working through a challenging schedule. Glenville State enters the postseason coming off a 2-1 win over West Virginia Wesleyan on Oct. 28, when Marcelle Stoller opened the scoring before Valentina Quiroz delivered the eventual game-winner early in the second half. The Pioneers will look to carry that momentum into Sunday's tournament opener.

Quick Look at The Pioneers
Valentina Quiroz leads Glenville State with eight goals and two assists, while Solares Solano has contributed six goals and two assists. Isabella Cuellar-Gutierrez has added four goals, and Sofia Jalaksova leads the team with three assists. The Pioneers will look to these attacking leaders to generate scoring opportunities against a Point Park defense that has been difficult to break down throughout the season. Glenville State will aim to reverse the result of its earlier meeting with Point Park, when the Pioneers were held scoreless in the 1-0 loss. With a semifinal berth on the line, Glenville State will look to make the most of playing at home and continue its postseason run.
