Glenville, W.Va. – On a wet and rainy Wednesday afternoon the GSC Lady Pioneer soccer team fell to the Falcons of Notre Dame College, 9-0.
Glenville State (0-13, 0-9) tallied jut three total shots while Notre Dame (7-4, 7-1) totaled 43 shots.
NDC's first goal came at the 10:15 minute mark as Siage Ackerman scored off of an assist by Alyssa Soltis. The Falcons added four more goals in the first half. GSC's
Julia Lesko had a shot right before halftime however it would go wide right as the Lady Pioneers trailed at halftime, 5-0.
In the second half Notre Dame went on to score four more goals as they defeated GSC, 9-0. Two of the three Lady Pioneer shots came in the second half.
Julia Lesko missed on a penalty kick and later Lesko's shot was saved by goalie Kyra McDowell.
GSC had one corner kick while Notre Dame finished with eight.

Hannah Beaty had 18 saves.
Notre Dame had nine different players score while goal keeper Kyra McDowell had two saves.
Glenville State (0-13, 0-9) will return to action this Sunday, October 14
th when they travel to Urbana University for a 2 p.m. matchup with the Blue Knights.
