Urbana, Ohio – The GSC Lady Pioneer women's soccer team fell to the Urbana University Blue Knights on Sunday afternoon, 6-0.

Glenville State (0-14, 0-10) recorded four shots in the contest while Urbana (4-9, 3-7) had 46 total shots.

Urbana first goal came at the 26:10 mark of the first half as Alyssa Edwards scored her sixth goal of the season. The Blue Knights added two more goals before the half. Sophia Thomas scored at the 28:54 mark and Mikayla Williams scored at the 43:14 mark as GSC trailed 3-0.

Urbana took a 4-0 lead at the 51:36 minute mark in the second half as Kobi Bryant scored.

Brittany Maphis had a shot at the 58:54 mark for GSC but UU's Katherine Beech came up with the save.

Urbana then stretched their lead to 5-0 over GSC as Alyssa Edwards scored her second goal of the game. Urbana went on to defeat the Lady Pioneers, 6-0.

Three of Glenville State's shots came in the first half while Brittany Maphis had the only shot in the second half.

Urbana had 11 corner kicks in the contest while GSC had just one shot.

Brittany Maphis had two shots for GSC while Brie Webb had the other two shots.

Goalie Hannah Beaty had 21 saves in the game.

Urbana had four players score in the game while Sophia Thomas and Alyssa Edwards each had two goals in the contest.

UU's goal keeper Katjerine Beech had four saves in the game.

Glenville State (0-14, 0-10) will host the University of Charleston this Thursday, October 18^th at 6:30 p.m. from I.L. & Sue Morris Stadium.
