Glenville, W.Va. – The No. 12/11 Glenville State Lady Pioneers outscored the Golden Eagles of the University of Charleston 41-25 in the third and fourth quarters as they picked up their 20
th straight win, 81-63.
Glenville State (21-1, 16-0) forced Charleston (9-12, 6-10) into 19 turnovers and scored 26 points off of them as GSC won their 23
rd straight game at home. Â
In the first quarter GSC would build a five point lead, 16-11 at the 2:39 minute mark but UC would come right back and score the next five points as they tied it up at 16-16 with less than one minute till the end of the quarter.

Paris McLeod would give the Lady Pioneers a two point lead after one quarter, 18-16.
Neither team led by more than three points in the second quarter but GSC would pull ahead by two going into halftime, 40-38. The first half of action saw eight lead changes and six ties.
In the third quarter, both team would go back and forth trading buckets  as it was tied up at 52 all however after that tie at the 3:34 minute mark the Lady Pioneers would go on a 7-1 run to end the quarter led by
Paris McLeod as GSC took a nine point lead heading into the fourth quarter, 62-53.
Glenville State would control most of the fourth as they built a 17 point lead, 72-55 at the 7:02 minute mark and never looked back as they went on to outscore the Golden Eagles 19-10 in the quarter as the Lady Pioneers earned 18 point victory, 81-63.
The Lady Pioneers shot 47 percent from the floor and 44 percent from deep as they hit 13-of-29 three-points while the Golden Eagles shot 44 percent from the floor and 30 percent from deep.
GSC scored 12 fast break points while UC had just two.
Paris McLeod had a great showing as she scored a game-high 32 points to go with five rebounds and four steals.
Emily Stoller was the only other GSC player in double figures with 11 points and four assists.
Julie Bishop scored nine points while
Abby Stoller chipped in six points and grabbed four rebounds.
Charleston was led by Anna Hayton as she scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds while Dionna Sanders chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Glenville State (21-1, 16-0) will hit the road this Thursday, February 8
th as they take on Notre Dame College.
