Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer Acrobatics & Tumbling team won big on Senior Day as they defeated the Tigers of Georgetown College, 260.220 to 123.000.

GSC started the day by winning the compulsory event 32.80 to 22.55.

The Lady Pioneers followed that up with winning the acro event 28.95 to the Tigers 18.45. GSC would score a perfect 10.00 in the heat 2 (6 element) of the acro event.

In the pyramid event, again the Lady Pioneers would come out on top as they scored a 9.70 in heat 1 (inversion), a 9.90 in heat 2 (synchronized), and a 9.80 in heat 3 (open) as they took the event 29.40 to 25.50 as we headed to halftime.

Glenville State led at halftime 91.15 to 66.50.

The Lady Pioneers took the toss event 27.70 to Georgetown's 22.75.

In the tumbling event, GSC won it 51.050 to 33.750. Brianna D'Angelo had an outstanding performance as she scored a 9.775 in the aerial pass.

Glenville State then took the team event as they scored a 102.22 as they defeated Georgetown College 260.220 to 123.000.

Glenville State (5-2) will travel to Fairmont State tomorrow Saturday, April 7 for a 3:00 p.m. meet with the Fighting Falcons.
