Glenville, W.Va.- After coming up from an over time loss Sunday afternoon, the Lady Pioneers are gearing up travel to Athens W.Va. to kick off against Concord at 1:00pm October 3^rd.
 
Concord comes into the match with a 6-1 record and sitting in the top seed of the MEC Southern Division. In the 2018 season, the Blue and White trailed 8-0 and 12-0 when facing Concord and looking to continue their strong defense in the first 2019 match up.
 
The Blue and White sit in the fifth seed with a 2-5 overall record. Leighana Weaver leads the Lady Pioneers with goals and shots of two and 13 with nine on goal.
 
Julia Lesko follows behind with 10 shots, and five on target and one goal.
 
Morgan Smailes totals 57 saves on the season.
 
The Lady Pioneers will have a quick turn around and face off at University of Charleston Sunday October 6^th at 7pm. The Golden Eagles are 4-4 on the year. Last week's match up against UC, the Lady Pioneers held strong defense before falling 3-0 in the second half.
