Box Score Glenville, W.Va. – The Lady Pioneers would fall in three straights sets against the Falcons of Notre Dame Friday afternoon, at the beginning of their homecoming series. The Blue and White came up short in each set, (25-17), (25-9) and (25-14).
 
In the first set, the Lady Pioneers would gain the first two-point lead 6-4 before the Falcons would come back in a 13-10 lead. The Lady Pioneers would fall in a 25-17 set. Karlei Shaver would rack six kills in the first set along with Skylar Mace who would find the first service ace for the Blue and White.
 
In the second set, GSC would trail behind exceeding the gap 17 points before falling 25-9.
 
The Blue and White were looking to make a comeback as they would fight back in fourth until the Falcons would maintain a three-point lead within the set. The Falcons would then claw dawn against the Lady Pioneers to extend their lead by 10 to then take the match 25-14.
 
Shaver would have nine kills on the day, following Mace with five.
 
Mace, Chase Cooksey and Jazaray Clark-Casto would all have solo blocks.
 
Lindsey Winkler, Maddison Shepherd and Sophie Shifferly would have eight, seven and six digs each respectively.
 
The Lady Pioneers are looking to bounce back in a quick turn around to face off against Urbana University, Saturday morning at 10am in the Homecoming series.
