Glenville, W.Va. – After a victorious night against the Mountain Lions of Concord University earlier this week, the Lady Pioneers are looking to carry momentum into their homestretch of the season. Glenville State will host West Liberty University and Wheeling University in the last conference match up on the year.
The Lady Pioneers will face off against the Hilltoppers Friday, November 15
th at 7 pm in the Waco Center. The Blue and White come into the match at 5-22 where as WLU 15-14 on the year and 7-7 in conference play.
The Blue and White will have a quick turn around and square off against the Cardinals of Wheeling University who is 26-3 on the year, Saturday November 16
th at 10 am, where four seniors will be recognized before the match.
Chase Cooksey transferred from Chestnut Hill College before joining the Blue and White. During her senior season she totaled 14 solo blocks, with 27 block attacks with 58 total kills.
Jezaray Clark-Casto the Philippi, W.Va native was a four year member for the Lady Pioneers with 79 kills on the year and 32 digs.
Bailey Hanson, also a four-year member and native of Macomb, Michigan received 19 digs on the year with 16 block attacks and 21 kills.
Emilie Jedamski, a Gilmer County Native and three-year member of the Lady Pioneers program notched 20 total kills and 14 digs in the Blue and White jersey.
