Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers (1-0) reached the century mark for the first time in the season as they defeated the Marauders of Millersville (0-1), 137-83.
Senior
Emily Stoller lead the Lady Pioneers in points with 32 going 9-for-19 from deep with two steals and eight rebounds.
Zakiyah Winfield paced 27 minutes, going 10-of-12 totaling 29 points along with six rebounds and two assists.
Early in the game, the Lady Pioneers and the Marauders would go back in forth in a point by point brawl before Millersville lead 14-8. GSC answered back by going on a 19-13 run to lead 30-19.
Emily Stoller started the second quarter from deep to to extend their lead by another three along with her sister
Abby Stoller adding a lay up to lead 35-28.
The Lady Pioneers made separation from the Marauders going on a small 9-3 run to increase their lead to 14 at 42-28.
The Blue and White would continue to go to town on Millersville going on a deep 32-12 run to put the Lady Pioneers on top at 65-37.

Taychaun Hubbard continued the scoring for Lady Pioneers to end the first half 72-38.
Glenville State shot 55.5% from the field going 27-for-49, and 41.2% form deep. Millersville trailed where as they could only connect 40% at 14-for-35.

Emily Stoller lead the half at 20 and 18 points, respectively, along with Hubbard gathering six rebounds.
Hubbard started the third quarter with a free throw, before MU gained a small 7-5 run to reduce their deficit 77-45. The Lady Pioneers lead the Marauders by 36 points in the third.
Emily Stoller tallied three shots from deep to hit the century mark to end the third quarter at 100-59.
Kaneshia Afi started the fourth quarter from deep along with Re'Shawna Stone notching a layup with
Kaylee Pierce with a pair of free throws to lead 118-66.
Makayla Pierce would end the match scoring the last shot as they defeat the Marauders 137-83.
The Blue and White finished 46-of-82 from the field shooting 13-of-33 from behind the arc where as Millersville could only make 30-for-71 and two shots from deep.
Millersville was lead by Lauran Lister as she scored team high 24 points and 1-for-3 from deep. Olivia Mottrn and Megan DeBeary gathered six rebounds.
The Lady Pioneers will have a quick turn around and square off against the Golden Rams of West Chester University, Novemver 10
