Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC Acrobatics & Tumbling team earned their fourth victory of the season on Sunday as they defeated the Bulldogs of Adrian College.

Glenville State took the compulsory event outscoring Adrian 35.30 to 31.60. GSC's high score came in the pyramid heat as they scored a 9.8 while the Bulldogs came in the pyramid heat as well as they scored a 9.6.

The Lady Pioneers scored a 9.45 in heat one, a 9.55 in heat two and a 9.65 in heat three in the acro event as they took the event from Adrian 28.65 to 25.35. Adrian's high score came in heat one as they scored an 8.5. Glenville State led Adrian 63.95 to 56.95 as we headed into the pyramid event.

Glenville State had a great performance in the pyramid event as they scored a total 29.65 while the Bulldogs scored a 26.95. The Lady Pioneers scored a 9.9 in heat one, a 9.85 in heat two and a 9.9 in heart three.

GSC took a 93.60 – 83.90 lead into halftime over Adrian.

After halftime GSC came out and took the toss event from the Bulldogs 27.00 to 26.25. The Lady Pioneers scored a 9.05 in heat one and heat two. Glenville State held the 120.60 -110.15 lead heading into the tumbling event.

Glenville State then won the tumbling event 52.40 to Adrian's 41.425. Brianna D'Angelo scored a 9.775 in the heat four with Jenae Shar scoring a 9.25 in heat five and Sarah DiSpaltro scored a 9.225 in heat six.

In the final event, the team event, the Lady Pioneers took the event from the Bulldogs 90.22 to 84.52 as GSC went on and won the meet 263.220 to 236.105.

Glenville State (4-1) will return to action on April 5^th at 6 p.m. when they host Davis & Elkins on Senior Night.
