Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC Lady Pioneers women's soccer team is set to travel to IUP Saturday afternoon September 7th in a non-conference matchup. The Lady Pioneers are still looking for their inaugural regular season win. Their first home contest of the year will be against  Lake Erie College on Tuesday, September 10th.
 
The Lady Pioneers return 10 players from last season's squad including senior Julia Lesko, and Shiann Perry. Senior Leighana Weaver joins the Pioneer squad from University of Hawaii-HILO where she appeared in 13 games with 1 goal and 1 assist.
 
The back line of the Lady Pioneers are Reagan Melvin and Morgan Smailes. Last season, Smails supported 80 goals saved of the 315 shots on goal.
 
This is the second match up between GSC and IUP, where IUP is up 1-0 in the series.
