How It Happened
While the Hilltoppers took the Compulsory event 35.50-26.90, the Pioneers were successful in the Toss Heat at 9.85-9.45.
West Liberty continued to perfect their scores as they got ahead of the Blue and White in the Acro portion. Within the three heats, the Hilltoppers outscored the Lady Pioneers 28.05-24.15.
In the Pyramid portion, the Pioneers fell short of just one point as the Hilltoppers landed a 26.35, where GSC totaled 25.70.
The Lady Pioneers fell in all heats, 450 Salto, Synchronized and open; 24.30-23.15.
In the Tumbling portion, the Hilltoppers continued to lead, except for the Duo Pass;
