Winter Haven, FL – The Lady Pioneers fell in their double header against Rockhurst University and University of Findley to drop to 7-9 on the year.

Mackenzie Martinelli and Ashely Fridley all tallied one hit on the day as Uber also touched first on a walk.
Celina Maberto and
Tori Ward both gained the loss on the mound today as Maberto gave up six runs off just one hit where Ward let go of three runs off fifve hits.
How It Happened
Game One: Glenville 0, Rockhurst 9
Mackenzie Martinelli gained the first hit of the contest with a line shot up the middle, Peyton then advanced Martinelli to second on a ground ball to second but would be left stranded.
Rockhurst got on the board first as Lady Pioneer errors would result in a quick 3-0 deficit as
Peyton Werntz would come into relief in the second. The Hawks then extended their lead 9-0 at the end of the second.
In the third, Pranada Uber would tally the Blue and White's second hit of the ball game with a shot to left field but again would be left stranded
In the fifth, the Lady Pioneers continued to trail by nine with one last crack at the sticks.
Jeri Potter reached first on a Hawks error and advanced to second on Ashely Fridley's blooper over third. However, both runners would be left stranded ending the ball game at 9-0.
Game Two: Glenville 3, Findley 0
In the first, the Oilers gained an early 1-0 lead to start the ball game. In the second, Mackanzie Martinelli reached first on an oiler third baseman error.
After stealing second,
Katelyn Richardson was then hit by pitch and replaced at first with Kayla Letrart. Yet, both runners would be left at first and second.
The Oilers got back on the sticks in the third with a solo shot over center gaining a 2-0 lead and again in the third to lead 3-0 over the Pioneers.
The Blue and White would fall to University of Findley as they did not attack any hits and only had three runners on base all contest drawn by three walks.
