Playing in Game One of their two-day road swing, Glenville's Volleyball squad lost in straight to Notre Dame; 25-12, 25-17, 25-20. Coach
Keven John's Lady Pioneer squad played the Falcons tight in the early portions of each set, but the hosts were able to pull away each time.

The score was 15-10 Notre Dame in the first set, before the Falcons closed with a 10-2 run to close. In the second, an energized Glenville squad jumped to an early 3-1 advantage, and still led late at 15-14. But similar to the first set, Notre Dame closed with a strong 11-2 run. While the Falcons led though all of the final set, Glenville kept the score close throughout, falling 25-20.

Skylar Mace led GSC with 11 kills, followed by
Karlei Shaver with eight and
Sydney Goodrich seven. Setters
Julia King and Sarah Grainger recorded 15 and 11 assists respectively. Defensively,
Madison Shepherd led with 13 digs, followed by
Hannah McKown with nine.

Notre Dame improves to 14-12 overall, 5-6 in the league. Glenville falls to 2-15 overall, and 0-11 in the league.

Glenville remains in action tomorrow night, traveling to Alderson-Broaddus. First serve is set for 6:00pm in Philippi.
