Women’s Soccer Falls to Falcons

SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO -  After a two game winning streak, Pioneer Women's Soccer traveled north on Sunday to take on Notre Dame of Ohio. The Falcons would come into the contest with a 4-7-3 overall record.

The Falcons would get on the board first when Madison Marino would clean up a shot off the crossbar to give NDC the early lead.

The Falcons poured on the pressure heavy again late in the half firing four shots in the last ten minutes, with one of them converting just ten seconds before half. Glenville would go into the half down 3-0.

Madison Marino would keep the hot streak going for the Falcons converting early in the second half at the 47th minute to give the Falcons a 4-0 lead.

Lyric Allen had a chance late in the game to get on the board for GSC but missed high.
