Bridgeport, W.Va. -  The Mountain East Conference has announced matchups for the 2021 MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship to be held this weekend at Joe Retton Arena on the campus of Fairmont State University. 

Championship Central 

No spectators are permitted for the event. All competition will be streamed live on MountainEast.tv.

Fairmont State is the top seed for the championship after going 5-0 in MEC competition this spring. The Falcons will take on Frostburg State on Friday at 4 p.m. The Bobcats, in their first season of competition in the sport, qualified for the tournament this evening with a win over West Virginia Wesleyan. Second-seeded West Liberty will face third-seeded Glenville State on Friday at noon. The winners from Friday night's semifinal will compete for the championship on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Additionally, the MEC will hold event finals on Saturday morning. The final list of qualifiers will be based on the top three event scores during MEC comptition this season and will be released on Thursday, April 8, at noon.
