Glenville, W.Va. – A quickly escalated match would be tamed by half as Glenville State (1-6) dropped a home contest to University of Charleston (4-1) 5-0.
How It Happened
First Half:
The Golden Eagles of University of Charleston was quick to the pitch scoring their first goal within the first five minutes.
From there, UC scored two more goals before the Pioneers picked up their first shot.
Shyanne Martin at the 28-minute mark would attempt to put the Pioneers on the board but missed right as GSC trailed 3-0 at the half.
Second Half:
Then in the second half, Mike Abe would have GSC's lone shot on goal but just missed high of the net 61 minutes into the contest.
Heidi Hunter a few minutes later added another shot however would by shy left as UC would then go on to score two more goals to end the contest.

Glenville State tallied just three shots with one being on goal where as the University of Charleston totaled 22 on the night with 17 being on goal.
