Kim Stephens' squad is currently 13-0 overall, and 8-0 in the Mountain East Conference.
Glenville leads the nation in scoring, averaging 101.2 points per game. Remarkably, they also lead the conference in overall defense, allowing only 63.2 points per game. It goes without saying that they lead league scoring margin.
On Wednesday the Lady Pioneers turned the screws defensively, recording a convincing 106-34 victory over Davis & Elkins in the Waco Center. They drained 17 three-point field goals in the win.
Re'Shawna Stone continues to lead the league in scoring at 19.1 points per game, followed closely by
Zakiyah Winfield who is fourth at 16.5. Stone also leads the league in steals at 2.1 spg, with teammate
Dazha Congleton third at 2.1.
Abby Stoller leads the team in rebounding at 7.0 rpg, followed by
Taychaun Hubbard at 6.3.
Wesleyan enters the game 2-7 overall, and 1-6 in the MEC. They played Concord tough on Wednesday, falling to the Mountain Lions 65-53 in Athens. Symphonie Bryant-Brown leads the Bobcats in scoring at 14.1 ppg, with Electra Allembert ranked fifth in the league in rebonding at 9.8 rpg.
