The Lady Pioneers Defeat the Falcons Notre Dame College 116-58 On the Road

South Euclid, Ohio - The Lady Pioneers routed the Falcons of Notre Dame College 11-6-58 ending their two-game road stretch with a win. Glenville State shot 50.6% from the field and 32.3% from three. Coach Stephens's squad held the Falcons to 16.7% from deep and 34.4% from the field. The Lady Pioneers also had 53 points off the bench.

Glenville State opened up the first quarter on a 10-2 by getting out in transition and to the free-throw line. During the Lady Pioneers' great start Breanna Campbell was able to produce back-to-back steals that led to layups for GSU. The Lady Pioneers continued to dominate throughout the quarter eventually taking a 20-point advantage. Notre dame would end the first quarter making consecutive shots shrinking GSU's lead down to 15.

Glenville continued to force turnovers in the second quarter. The Lady Pioneers would cause a total of 36 turnovers and scored 52 points off of them. GSU doubled their lead before heading into the half. The Lady Pioneers hit a total of six threes in the second quarter.

Coming out of the half Glenville State produced another 30-point quarter. Right out of the gate Mickyla Purdue hit a three continuing the Lady Pioneers' hot shooting from deep making it 67-33. The Falcons only took nine shots in the third quarter. Mo Pruitt proved to be a scoring threat producing 15 points just in the third quarter. Glenville extended their lead to 50 before the end of the quarter.

Coach Stephens's squad held the Falcons of Notre Dame College to 11 points in the remaining 10 minutes of the contest.  The Lady Pioneers shooting from three cooled off in the fourth quarter. Glenville would go 0-10 in the quarter but shot 75% from the free-throw line. In the last minute of regulation, Mo Pruitt scored a layup from inside the paint.

Mo Pruitt finished the contest with a double-double scoring 30 points and securing 11 rebounds. Junior Breanna Campbell was the second Lady Pioneer in double figures producing 24 points and shooting 83% from the field. Transfer Mickayla Perdue was just one rebound shy of a double-double accounting for 17 points. Deja Atkinson and Breanna Campbell both finished the game with four steals.
