Marietta, Ohio - Coach Dan Meyers's Men's and Women's track and field teams have started the indoor portion of their schedule on a high note. The men came in second with 133 points only 11 behind the event leaders Mount Vernon Nazarene. On the women's side, the Lady Pioneers start off the 2022-23 campaign with a first-place finish out of a five-team field.

For the women's indoor team Koschinya Jefferson set a new school record for the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.33 in the prelims. Jefferson a native of Newport News, Va. would break her record in the finals with a time of 7.31.
