GLENVILLE – Freshly minted as MEC Champions for 2022, Glenville State's #1 ranked Lady Pioneers now turn their attention to other tasks at hand; continuing their undefeated season, and preparing for the upcoming post-season.

That all starts Wednesday night in Elkins, as Glenville travels to face the Davis & Elkins Senators. Coach Kim Stephens' squad is coming off an impressive 103-77 road win at West Virginia State on Monday night.

GSC leads the nation with a 99.7 scoring average, defeating opponents by a staggering 36.9 points per game. The Lady Pioneer defense is collecting an average of 15.8 steals per game, and cashing in their thefts by tallying 35.7 points per game off turnovers.

Davis & Elkins is led by Dream Cherry, who is averaging 16.3 points per game.

Glenville enters the contest 23-0 overall, and 18-0 in the MEC. Davis & Elkins is 6-17 overall, and 3-15 in the league.

Tip-off is set for 5:30.
