ELKINS – Glenville State's Acrobatics & Tumbling team opened their 2022 season on Sunday traveling to Davis & Elkins, falling to the Senators 233.725-164-725. The two teams were very close throughout the competition, until D&E was able to pull away in the team event.
Glenville captured event victories in two events; Compulsory (31.200-27.800) and Pyramid (24.250-23.150). They almost captured two other events but came up just short; Toss (21.750-24.500) and Tumbling (47.125-48.625). The difference came in the team event, where D&E sealed the win (30.000-86.500).
Coach Ashley Patterson's squad is back in action this week, returning to the Waco Center to host West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday the 27th. First event is set for 2:00.
