FROSTBURG – Glenville's Acrobatics & Tumbling team traveled Frostburg Sunday, competing in a tri-meet against Quinnipiac the host Frostburg State squad. With a tri-meet, the teams each compete once their respective six-event program, and the scores are measured against each team individually.
For the day, Quinnipiac posted the day's highest team total of 272.03, outpointing the host Frostburg squad, who ended the program at 257.52. Frostburg was able to defeat Glenville head-to-head to log a conference victory, as the Pioneers ended the day with a team total of 218.96.
Frostburg is now 3-3 overall, with the strong Quinnipiac team improving to 4-1. The Pioneers are now 0-4 on the season.
Coach Ashley Patterson's squad is back in action next Sunday, hosting Alderson-Broaddus at the Waco Center.
First event will be on the mat at 6:00 PM.
