GLENVILLE – Coach Sara Scoone's Glenville Softball team lost a pair of heartbreaker games on Sunday afternoon to Slippery Rock; 5-4 in Game One, and 6-5 in Game Two. For the weekend, Slippery Rock took three of the games in the four-game set.
Monica Rodelo was the hitting star on the day for the Pioneers, gong five-of-seven and recording four RBI's in the doubleheader. Both Addison Aguiniga and Haylee Stevens had two hits in Game Two, and each player scored a run.
Glenville is now 4-5 overall, with Slippery Rock improving to 3-5.
