The Pioneers continue their non-conference road trip at Bluefield State this Monday at 5:00 PM. This will be the first time in program history that these teams will face each other.
 
Bluefield State opened their season on the road at fellow Divivison Two independent Salem University. The Big Blue of Bluefield State shut out Salem 3-0 last Thursday. The Big Blue would strike early and often in this match. Isabella Esteves struck first for Bluefield State in the 5th minute of the match. Esteves would also produce an assist later on in the match. The Big Blue are under the direction of second-year head coach Scott Forester. Forester's first season with the club was the inaugural season of the program.
 
The Pioneers will be looking to pick up the win in this non-conference match-up before the start of conference play next week. While the Pioneers lost a close match-up against Converse, there were a lot of positives from the match. Glenville's defense was able to handle and soak up the pressure produced by Converse for most of the match. The Pioneers were able to create opportunities from set pieces.
