Glenville, W.Va.- The Lady Pioneers continue Mountain East Conference play on Sunday against West Virginia State. This will be the fifth matchup between these two schools in program history.
 

The Yellow Jackets of West Virginia State have started the 2022 season 3-0 and 1-0 in conference play. West Virginia State is coming off of a victory over #6 in the nation Concord. Fran Soares-Cupertino leads the Yellow Jackets in goals this season followed by Brooklyn Pitt. As a team, West Virginia State has produced five assists and Emma Farrelly leads the Yellow Jackets in assists with two. Laura Galindo has played two games. She has made five saves and has only allowed one goal per game.
 

The Lady Pioneers are looking to pick up their first win of the season. Mikayla Brown and Jordyn Dansby-Ross have been a staple in the Glenville Starting 11. Brown has played every minute in goal for the Pioneers this season and has produced 12 saves with a save percentage of 63.2%. Jordyn has played every minute during the 2022 season and has been crucial for the Pioneer's defending line. Mackenzie Hendricks leads the Pioneers in shots and shots on goal followed by Freshman Graylin Floyd.
