Institute, W.Va. - The Glenville State University Women's Soccer team fell to the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets 4-0.
The Lady Pioneers opened the match in attack mode by creating two chances in the first three minutes of the match.
Merel Smets shot would be saved by the West Virginia State's goalkeeper and
Graylin Floyd's shot would be blocked by the Yellow Jackets' defense. West Virginia State would take advantage of a yellow card on
Jordyn Dansby-Ross and score taking 1-0. Paula Herold's goal was an amazing shot from 35 yards on the free kick. The Yellow Jackets struck again in the 32 minute extending their lead to 2-0. In the 34th minute, lighting would put the match on pause for two hours.
The Pioneers tried to climb back from the first-half deficit but a red card on
Jordyn Dansby-Ross put Glenville down a man the rest of the match. West Virginia State took advantage of the Lady Pioneers' ejection and scored two more goals before the end of the match making it 4-0.

Ivy White led the Pioneers in shots and shots on goal.
