GSU Women's Soccer Travels to Concord in Mountain East Conference Clash

Glenville State University Women's Soccer team travels Wednesday night to face the Concord Mountain Lions.

Concord enters the match with a 4-2 overall record and is 2-2 in Mountian East Conference play. The mountain Lions are coached by Luke Duffy who enters his seventh season as head coach. Duffy during his time at Concord has produced three All-Americans for the program. Sophomore Jayme Millard leads the team in goals with six and has produced an assist. The Mountain Lions have had eight players manufacture assists during the 2022 campaign. In goal for Concord is Leah Marsh. Marsh has made 20 saves on the year and has one clean sheet.

Glenville State is coming off of a defeat to Davis and Elkins College. Merel Smets leads the lady Pioneers in shots this season with six followed by Jane Lew, W.Va. native Mackenzie Hendricks with five. Ivy White has played over 500 minutes for the Pioneers this season and has produced four shots on goal. In goal for the Pioneers is Junior goalkeeper Mikayla Brown. Brown has produced 34 saves with a save percentage of 68%.
