The Glenville State University Lady Pioneers travel to the University of Charleston for a midday soccer matchup on Sunday, September 25
th.
Charleston enters the match with a 3-4 overall record and they are 3-2 in Mountain East Conference play. Golden Eagles are on a two game losing streak in which they dropped two close games against fellow South Division rivals Concord University Mountain Lions and West Virginia State University Yellow Jackets. Offensively, the Golden Eagles are supported by both Sydney Cavender and Rachel Osborne. Cavender during the season has produced a total of three goals, followed by Osborne with two goals. On the defensive side, Jordan Maynard continues her strong performance in goal as she has a total of 25 Saves and a .833 Save Percentage.
Previously this season, Lady Pioneers had an intense matchup against the Golden Eagles in which they played a solid match, but fell 1-0. GSU's forwards

Alexa Smith and
Jordyn Dansby-Ross have been a strong component in stopping opponent offense. In goal, Mikayla Brown had a total of 10 saves against the Golden Eagles. Brown has started all seven games for the Lady Pioneers and has been crucial on the defensive side with 39 Saves on the season. Â
