BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Glenville State Men's Basketball program was selected 8th in this year's Mountain East Conference preseason poll, the league announced today.
The Pioneers finished (17-13, 12-10 MEC), falling to Fairmont State in the MEC Quarterfinals. Glenville State will be led by new Head Coach Bob Bolen, who came to Glenville with 489 career wins and a national championship.
Last year's national runner-up West Liberty was once again picked to win the league, followed by Charleston and Fairmont State. The full MEC Preseason Poll is:
