BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - The Glenville State Women's Soccer team dropped a road match 1-0 at West Virginia Wesleyan earlier this afternoon. The Pioneers were able to get three shots on goal but the Bobcats found the back of the net on one of their four shots on goal.
The first half would close in a 0-0 tie after neither team could muster together much offense. However, the second half saw the Bobcats score the only goal of the game at the 79th minute as Beth Burchett was able to lead WVWC to the win.
The Final Stats
Irene Robles and Aitana Viejo both had two shots on goal for the Pioneers. Mikayla Brown had three saves in the loss.
Sydney Vilain had the most shots with three but Beth Burchett's goal would be the winner for the Bobcats. WVWC split the goalie duties once again, being led by Paige Miller's two saves.
