2023 Glenville State Football Slate Unveiled

Glenville, W.Va. - Glenville State University football team and head coach Mike Kellar has announced the program's 2023 schedule with the release of the Mountain East Conference portion Thursday Morning.

The Pioneer's schedule features one non-conference game against Northwood University and ten conference contests. GSU opens the season with back-to-back Thursday night games.

Glenville plays five home games and six road contests in 2023. The 2023 campaign kickoff against Northwood on August 31st. In week two GSU begins conference play on the road at Alderson Broaddus. The Pioneers wrap up the month of September against Notre Dame College at home and on the road at West Virginia State.

October starts with an away contest against West Liberty for Glenville. The following starts a two-game home stretch where the Pioneers will host Wheeling University and Concord University. In week nine GSU heads south to face UNC Pembroke before traveling north for a road contest against Frostburg State. November 4th's contest marks the first time Glenville has faced the Bobcats since the 2019 season.

The Pioneers close out the 2023 season against West Virginia Wesleyan for the third consecutive year.
