NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Glenville State Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at Muskingum University yesterday evening to open up the 2023 season. 

Bryan Utt (17:29), Trey Stanley (18:07), Isaac Slater (18:55) and Devan Lawson (19:05) all finished under the 20-minute mark. Natalie Barr dominated the women's side, finishing at 19:50 while the second-place runner came across at 21:11. Concord transfer Savannah Cunningham had a time of 23:14 and Samantha Dawson crossed at 23:18.

The Pioneers return to the course on Sept. 15 at the Thundering Herd Invitational on the campus of Marshall University.
